This hardly feels real …

The official release date for my debut picture book is 26 March 2025!

TUBOWGULE: A SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE HISTORY written by me and illustrated by Dylan Finney tells the history of the land that the Sydney Opera House stands on.

That history begins way before 1788 when the British arrived, and the connection Aboriginal people have with this significant site has endured.

I cannot wait for this book to be out in the world, and my hope is that it has a positive impact with its truth-telling and exploration of place from more than a Western perspective. This is a book I wish I’d had when I was a kid, and I hope it reaches many who can learn and pass on knowledge and respect for generations to come.

I feel incredibly lucky to have Dylan as the illustrator for TUBOWGULE: A SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE HISTORY. His art is brilliant, beautiful and adds so many more layers to the story. I am so grateful and in awe of his work and his interpretation of what I believe is an important story to tell.
