I love the bird drawing. I don't know much about drawing and art (I took one art class in college because I had to fill up my schedule). But I can imagine the angle of his head would be hard to draw.
Thank you SO much for your comment! It means a lot and I'm so glad you got it.
Aww and thank you for your words on my sadness/pain piece. It followed a piece I created after a not great time here in Australia last year, and that piece felt like it had so much of me in it, so I think that's why the next one didn't feel anywhere near that. I think I shared it in a post early in the year but I can't remember what it was called.
I wish I can sketch so well! They are beautiful. I find working with your hands can be so therapeautic, but for the life for me, I am not as adept with my hands. For now, I just enjoy making fun arts and crafts with my kids. It is so much easier as we are all learning and just having fun!

Thank you so much, Karly! I think the size of its head needs to be a little bigger, so maybe I can erase some and try again.
Yup. Yup. Yup. Getting over that fear and releasing our art and all the imperfections. I felt this entire article in my bones.
p.s. “Sadness/pain” guy works for me. I really think you nailed that piece!

Sitting down this weekend to work on a lot of pieces to release and working on that fear... 😆
Oh I would love to see it. I will poke around see if I can find it!
What kinds of pieces? I look forward to you releasing them out into the world :D
I think that piece was in my first post for the year, from memory.
